Halloween has been a blast this year! Hayrides, pumpkin cobbler, jack-o-lantern carving, costume parades, & candy. Somehow kids bring the spark back into every holiday!
I remember singing this song as a kid, and now it's a Halloween favorite around here:
Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate
The first one said, “Oh my, it’s getting late”
The second one said, “There are witches in the air”
The third one said, “But we don’t care”
The fourth one said, “Let’s run and run and run”
The fifth one said, “Isn’t Halloween fun?”
Then ooooh went the wind
And OUT went the lights
And the five little pumpkins rolled quickly out of sight!

I love that YOU are dressed up along side your kids- but Big Billy - isn't!! I'm not the only one with a husband too cool for the game. Vince claims his stance on moral grounds.... What's Billy's excuse?
I resent that comment Tamara. Do you think I always hang-out in spandex undershirts, AYSO coaching shirts, and wear a whistle around my neck? My consume might not be cool or particularly inventive, but it WAS a costume! As far as Vince objecting on moral grounds, well, perhaps he could send me the argument and a bullet list of assertions summarizing the main case--just in case I need to take the high-ground someday.
